The NAOS Advanced Diploma — Now in Cairo
The NAOS Institute has been at the forefront of sex and relationship therapy training since 1989, when Bernd Leygraf and Judi Keshet-Orr collaborated to establish the UK's first Masters programme in this discipline.
Together, Bernd and Judi (and faculty colleagues) have consistently set the standard in this field. They have graduated around 2,000 practitioners in over 40 countries worldwide, having been described as "the leading training provider in the field" (External Examiner 2024).
GAPRT Egypt now hosts and delivers this internationally recognised diploma through a hybrid model — bringing the full depth of the NAOS curriculum to professionals in Egypt and the wider region.

A Truly International Learning Experience
Two intakes run simultaneously — one in London, UK and one in Cairo, Egypt. Both cohorts join together on Zoom in Year 2 for an intercultural learning experience that is unique to this programme.
Year 1 — In-Person, Cairo
70% in-person training in Egypt — applied, skills-based, clinical focus. Monthly sessions with direct faculty contact in a central Cairo location.
Year 2 — Blended Learning
Combined in-person and live online sessions. Joint intercultural cohort with London students via Zoom, exposing Egyptian practitioners to international perspectives and clinical frameworks.
Ongoing Supervision
Clinical work under supervision commences at the end of Year 1. Approximately 1.5 hours per month group supervision in Year 2, ratio 1:6. 150 hours of supervised clinical practice required.
